I told people about podcorps.org, “an all-volunteer team of audio/video producers who record and publish important spoken-word events anywhere in the world”.
It was another amazing meeting, and the mix of people who show up every month keep me informed, inspired, and educated on what’s happening in participatory media and the new media edges.
David told us about the Making Media Now: Filmmaking in Transition conference to be held on June 1st, 2007 from 9:30 am to 6:30 pm at the Photonics Center at Boston, University.
Dean Jansen showed us a new site he worked on that shows people how to Make Internet TV.
John Herman talked about The Energy Smackdown (eco-reality show) webisodes which start filming this week, which is basically a show that challenges three families to a three month aim to conserve energy. He also shared with us the fact that Abraham Lincoln slept in his apartment. Ha!
Ben Sheldon tald us about Stories for Change, “an online meeting place for community digital storytelling facilitators and advocates”.
